Color of the Wash

Yesterday when returning on the ferry from Redland Bay back home to Macleay Island, I saw that the water which is usually pristine blue and aqua was now a muddy brown from the flood waters running to the Bay from the Logan River. The wash from the ferry was quite golden. Redland Bay will soonContinue reading “Color of the Wash”

Macleay Island Queensland

You can travel to the Jetty by Taxi if you don’t have your own vehicle. Parking is not easy as the parking areas are mostly always full, and if travelling during business and school hours, it seems easier to simply take the local taxi which will take you right to the jetty. All ferries fromContinue reading “Macleay Island Queensland”

Sunset Over the Sea

From Woolli I drove back to Redland Bay in one drive trying to get the 4.45pm vehicle ferry back to Russell island. I made it withContinue reading “Sunset Over the Sea”
