Burrum Heads Queensland
Burrum Heads is located about three and a half hours drive north of Brisbane and approximately half an hour from Hervey Bay and Maryborough, 50 kms from Maryborough. Muddy Water
Lately, vast areas of Queensland have been covered in brown water. The dust from our recent western trip is still on our tyres, but many of the roads we drove on are now cut by floods. There were beautiful ferns at the entrance to the path looking like another world or something out of Lord of the Rings North beach faces north-north-east toward Shag Rock, 1.5 km offshore. North Gorge in the Rain
We took the bus to Point Lookout intending to walk the Gorge if it wasn’t raining too hard. The first part of the walk is under a canopy of cottonwood trees, but it was also windy and the rain still came through the trees. We walked to the start of the Gorge that overlooked MainContinue reading “North Gorge in the Rain”
