Macleay Island is an island located in Moreton Bay, South East Queensland … Perulpa Island is a small attached to Macleay Island by a causeway. Corroboree Place is across the Lucas Passage which is the waterway between Macleay Island, Lamb Island and Stradbroke Island. Lucas Passage is a marine channel in Queensland. Lucas Passage is situated nearby to Lamb Island, and northeast of Karragarra Passage.

At low tide, the passage is a mudflat rich in sea life, edged with mangroves, and visited by birds. The Sea Eagle came to check the Crab Pot

and the Heron prowled out of range but close enough to watch for any action. The bay is edged with mangroves.
