Barron Gorge, a deep chasm lined with dense rainforest vegetation.

Easy access walkways at Barron Falls Station lead you through the rainforest to three separate lookouts providing breathtaking views of the Gorge and Falls. The Falls are at their most spectacular during the green (wet) season, December through to March

The station is also home to the state-of-the-art Rainforest Interpretation Centre. The Centre, developed in conjunction with CSIRO, Australia’s premier scientific research organization, houses a visual and interactive presentation of the rainforest environment.

Touch-screen computers, videos and pictorials will help you to unravel some of the mysteries of this complex ecosystem while providing you and your family with a fun and entertaining learning experience to enhance your enjoyment of the rainforest.
